There is no mistaking the call of ministry that God has placed on our lives. This calling is so important to us. Many of you have watched us grow up. You’ve seen us succeed and you’ve seen us fail. You’ve watched us begin a marriage and start a family. We are so grateful for your support. Recently we’ve felt an urgent need to strengthen the foundation of our ministry through a full time residency program with The Austin Stone Institute of The Austin Stone Community Church. This program will allow Zack to be trained in the area of worship ministry while shadowing their Worship Pastor, Aaron Ivey. Zack has the opportunity to learn and grow in his leadership skills as well as participate in a seminary accredited men’s development course. We’ve provided only a short description of all that Zack will be doing as he dives deeper into the knowledge and experience of what it means to be a Worship Pastor. This opportunity is incredibly monumental for us. We are so grateful to have been accepted into this program. We hope you will catch the excitement as well.
We would be remiss to not include a special note about where we’ve come from. We were both blessed to be a part of Bell Shoals Baptist Church. It was there that we were called into ministry while in the youth group. God strategically used our church body to mold and shape us into who we are today. We will take much of what we were taught and our experiences there as we minister to the people of Austin. We also had the amazing opportunity to serve for two-plus years at Redeemer Church in Orlando. The staff and church family at Redeemer have invested so much into us and are truly sending us out in support on our journey to Austin. We are so grateful for our time at Redeemer Church and will miss it dearly.
Our family is inviting you to prayerfully consider supporting us through this two year program. Support raising is not only a financial necessity but it is also biblical. Throughout Scripture, followers of God raised support for their ministry, including Jesus and His disciples (Luke 8:1-3). We are asking you to join us in Kingdom work through prayer and monetary support. Our family can not make this journey on our own and are relying on the provision of Christ through the body of believers. We love and appreciate each of you and the impact that you’ve had on our lives thus far. Our family looks forward to partnering with you on this journey.
